Hello, I'm Lisa aka Headvampire. I started the Lost Boys Wiki out of love for the original movie and after seeing the sequel. I'll admit I thought that as a sequel to such a classic, Tribe sucked (pardon the pun), but as a stand alone straight-to-DVD release it was decent enough to add to my collection (though I have yet to actually buy it!).

All the damn vampires!

My love for The Lost Boys goes back to the early 90's. I think I was about 10 years old when I first saw it. Being a fan of all vampire related mischief (and the Two Coreys) I fell in love with it, not to mention the awesome soundtrack featuring my alltime favourite band, INXS.

It doesn't stop with The Lost Boys though. From Dusk Till Dawn, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Near Dark, Interview With The Vampire... if it has bloodsuckers in it, I'm there! Really, I'll watch any old shit if it has vampires in it, and believe me when I say I've seen some real stinkers in my time!

Work, Work, Work!

I ♥ Alan Frog

Alan Frog

Growing up I had a little bit of a crush on Alan Frog. It seems he's constantly overshadowed by Edgar, but I think he's the cooler of the two brothers, the unsung hero if you will. Overall he's my favourite character of the whole movie, and I love the Eddie Munster line!

I was disappointed to see he'd been cut from Lost Boys: The Tribe and relegated to cut scenes on the DVD Extras, but I'm hoping that the rumours are true and that he'll be prominently featured in the third installment. Not too sure I wanna see too much of the cowboy hat though, haha! If Edgar's rockin' the bandana after all these years, I wanna see some beret action on Alan's part!

You know I'm right...

My Lost Boys Stuff

Stuff I Want

It's quite unfair that here in the UK they've only released The Tribe as a double disc pack with the first movie. They did the same with Shock Treatment (released in a set with Rocky Horror). Most disappointing as I don't really fancy having The Lost Boys on DVD three times. It's a bit much don't you think? I didn't even plan on having it twice, but then that's how these people take your money isn't it? They release a DVD and you think "Oh how wonderful", then a year or two down the line a special edition pops up and you need to have it with all it's sexy extra features! We are fools because we do it EVERY TIME!
